Why does 24T Electrical Services process personal data?
24T Electrical Services needs to process personal data provided by you in order to enter into a client or supplier contract with you and to meet its obligations under those contracts. For example, it needs to process your data to provide you with a product or service you have purchased and to enable to provide that service for the duration of the contract. This means we have a Lawful Basis to collect and process this data known as ‘Contractual’.

24T Electrical Services also shares your data with third parties that process data on our behalf, in connection with accounting, taxation etc. ASAP computers is the 24T Electrical Services IT support provider and have access to all company documents in order that they can maintain our server, hardware and software. Our Agreement with them ensures that all data is securely handled to industry standards at all times. 24T Electrical Services will not transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area.

How does 24T Electrical Services protect data?
24T Electrical Services takes the security of your data seriously. 24T Electrical Services has internal policies and controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of their duties. ASAP maintain our server and all data is securely locked away with only the required individuals able to access to this through the data protection officer.

Where 24T Electrical Services engages third parties to process personal data on its behalf, they do so on the basis of written instructions, are under a duty of confidentiality and are obliged to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of data.

For how long does 24T Electrical Services keep data?
24T Electrical Services will hold your personal data for the duration of any contract or service agreement. The periods for which your data is held after the end of a contract or service agreement is 7 years (in line with the 24T Electrical Services Accounting Policy and in order for us to adequately process information regarding Taxation etc).

Your rights
As a data subject, you have a number of rights. You can:

  • access and obtain a copy of your data on request;
  • require 24T Electrical Services to change incorrect or incomplete data;
  • require 24T Electrical Services to delete or stop processing your data, for example where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing;

  • ask 24T Electrical Services to stop processing data for a period if data is inaccurate or there is a dispute about
